The Prairie Art Gallery is celebrating the grand opening of our new location in the Montrose Cultural Centre. Join us for an evening of art, food, wine, and entertainment. The evening will also include the opening of three new art exhibitions, “Without End: Collaborative Drawing/Exploring the Lines That Keep Us Apart,” “Voices From the Earth,” and “The Boundary Layer.”

2009 Street Performers Festival
Visit the Prairie Art Gallery during Grande Prairie’s 2009 Street Performers Festival. Gallery staff and volunteers will be downtown this weekend with sidewalk chalk drawing and art exhibitions. Visit the Prairie Art Gallery in our new location in the Montrose Cultural Centre, just two blocks away at 9839 – 103 Avenue.

Celebrate Summer Solstice with a six-day festival of arts and culture in the north! Music, drama, visual art and literary activities are planned for all tastes and ages, throughout Grande Prairie, June 16 to 21 at the Iskoteo Arts Festival.
The City of Grande Prairie, Grande Prairie Regional College, the Prairie Art Gallery, Grande Prairie Public Library, the Grande Prairie Friendship Centre, Wordspinner and Art of the Peace are organizing numerous arts and culture events.
