Celebrate Summer Solstice with a six-day festival of arts and culture in the north! Music, drama, visual art and literary activities are planned for all tastes and ages, throughout Grande Prairie, June 16 to 21 at the Iskoteo Arts Festival.
The City of Grande Prairie, Grande Prairie Regional College, the Prairie Art Gallery, Grande Prairie Public Library, the Grande Prairie Friendship Centre, Wordspinner and Art of the Peace are organizing numerous arts and culture events.

Public Presentation: Excellence in Art Galleries
1:30 pm at the Prairie Art Gallery
Directors and Curators of public galleries across Alberta will gather in Grande Prairie to celebrate the Prairie Art Gallery’s new home in the Montrose Cultural Centre and discuss the future of public galleries in Alberta. The public is invited to join the guests of the Conference and hear 3 guest speakers on Friday, June 19 at 1:30 pm.
