Art of the Peace Visual Arts Symposium

The 6th Annual Art of the Peace Visual Arts Symposium is a weekend lecture series featuring guest artists, curators and art professionals. It is an opportunity to educate, inspire and network with local, regional, and national visual artists. This year’s guest speakers include artist Molly Raher Newman, Australian potter Greg Crowe and art dealer Doug MacLean.
The Dawson Creek Art Gallery is celebrating their 25th anniversary in 2008. To help celebrate the anniversary, the Gallery is hosting this year’s Art of the Peace Symposium. Join them for a weekend of amazing events, including a wine tasting, their second annual Pick a Painting Event, artist talks, a Saturday evening play, and art workshops on Sunday.
