Studio Mentors - Drawing (Ages 6-9)

Professional artists as mentors for budding young artists!
Learn a variety of drawing techniques and drawing media while exploring art styles and fundamentals.
This certificate program is aimed at developing students’ technical skills and art knowledge. Students progress from Level 1 through Level 3, each level is five weeks long. All students must complete the Level 1 program prior to advancing to Level 2, and then to Level 3. Students work in a small group setting with a professional artist. Student’s favorite artwork will be featured in our Children’s Gallery on The Prairie Art Gallery’s website.
Level 1: Sept. 20 - Nov. 1, 2008 (no class Oct. 11 & 25)
Level 2: Nov. 15 - Dec. 13, 2008
Level 3: Jan. 10 - Feb. 7, 2009
