Art Education at the Gallery

A Year In Review: Since the collapse of the gallery in 2007, we have been without adequate facilities in the gallery to offer hands on activities to school classes, so we have taken those activities to the students’ own classrooms. Between April 2009 and March 2010, we visited 115 classrooms…

Art Classes on Hold

Beginning in September 2010, the construction project will require that the gallery’s art exhibitions and art classes be temporarily interrupted. The gallery’s office hours may be temporarily effected as well. The staff would like to thank the public for their patience during this time of transition.

We’ve started the construction phase of the restoration project on the Prairie Art Gallery’s previous home in the historic 1929 Grande Prairie High School building (103 Ave & 99 Street) and we’d like to show you what the building will look like when it’s completed in 2011.

Street Performers Festival
